Philip Hudgins Appointed President of InVida Financial Network

InVida Financial Network (InVida) has appointed insurance industry veteran Philip Hudgins as President. In this capacity, Philip will lead InVida’s efforts to bring new life insurance agents into the industry and oversee the company’s direct sales model of insurance products for protecting families’ financial futures.

“Philip’s track record of honesty, integrity, selflessness, and hard work, combined with his ability and willingness to mentor people and help them achieve their own personal goals are unparalleled in the insurance industry,” commented InVida’s CEO Harry N. Stout. “His unique ability to motivate, mentor and empower people to build their own successful life insurance businesses is unlike anything I’ve ever witnessed,” continued Stout.

Philip’s insurance career began in 1983, when he started building an insurance marketing organization.  He quickly began to emerge as one of the most capable builders and mentors in the independent insurance agent marketplace. This soon segued into a partnership wherein he, and his partners, built National Agents Alliance (NAA) into one of the largest independent marketing organizations in the insurance industry at the time.

“The time for a business like InVida is NOW. With only 26% of people in our country owning only individual life insurance and just over half owning any life insurance at all (includes Group Life Insurance)1, there is a critical gap in protection for American families.  This leaves over 100 million adult Americans without life insurance protection2 which puts many at risk of a financial disaster,” explained Mr. Hudgins.  He further added, “A new face-to-face approach is needed to reach families and to educate them on how to address their life insurance and financial needs.  Unfortunately, the independent life insurance agent base is shrinking during this unprecedented time3. It is InVida’s goal to develop, educate and train the new sales and marketing talent that is so needed in life insurance sales.”

InVida also announced the appointment of Scot Jones to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Jones will oversee business, vendor and partner operations, field force development, lead sourcing and management, and the implementation of strategic business management tools and solutions for InVida’s growing agent base.
